How does G&L get that wonderful, chocolaty smell in the case? It's so amazing, every few weeks I put my basses in the case for a day or two, just to keep them smelling nice.
Anybody else notice that their G&L cases smell awesome?

My understanding is that it's the smell of the glue used in the case.
I love that smell

Have you ever smelled another case with the same smell? It's interesting to me that only G&L cases smell like this. Do they build their cases in house, using a special G&L glue recipe infused with sugar and chocolate?

OH MY GOD. I did not think anyone thought the same thing.
One odd thing I noticed is when I had my G&L in an SKB case is that it still had the same smell. Makes me think it has something to do with the instruments themselves?
