Gadow guitars press release on TB

So, sometimes I read the press releases on TB, and I saw this one:

Gadow Guitars has announced the re-introduction of their Bass guitars . They have come out with the newly designed Basses after production stopped on their first generation design in 2006 . The Basses are being built in their work shop in Durham, NC.

The new Basses are offered in two configurations, the Custom and Classic. The Custom comes standard with swamp ash body, figured maple top, and active Bartolini pickups and pre-amps. The stripped down version is offered as the Classic and comes standard with swamp ash body and passive Bartolini pickups.

“We have been wanting to come out with a new Bass for a while, but had taken our time on the R&D aspect to make sure that we got it right.” Explained head luthier Ryan Gadow. The instruments start at $1599 retail and are only going to be available from six authorized Gadow dealers.*

I clicked on the applicable link and, actually, couldn't find any basses (hard to figure out why not given the press release, but maybe I'm just slow). But I saw this guitar, called the Nashville:

Now, I'm kinda GAS-ing for it even though it's a guitar. Anyone ever played a Gadow product?

Yeah that's weird that they don't even have a photoshop or an in-progress shot or even a sketch of the new bass designs.

yeah bongo, that's what I was thinking, but I wasn't sure if I'd missed it. I guess not.

But I like that Nashville guitar. That said, I haven't picked up a guitar in months ... just sayin'.

Might be worth checking out the Rocket Music forum on the site. Greg there is a GREAT resource. Here's a link to the Gadow thread within that forum.
