The original band is playing a few dates over here in May. I'm looking forward to the Seattle show.

Here's a link to their site for the dates and cities:

Grooving at Left Angles

Well, I revived this old thread to rave about the Go4 concert in Seattle last night. Live, some bands are unable to convey (let alone exceed) the communicative power of their studio recordings. This band is not one of those. Sonically, rhythmically, charismatically, I was simply astounded. I urge the curious to catch this tour- or risk waiting another 20 years. I’ll have to stop here to avoid "dancing about architecture".

I saw it at the Fillmore and it was a good show.

Boy does Dave Allen have that classic Stingray tone! Plus with that big-ass Mesa cab it certainly cut through.

Going to see them at across the narrows

I came across this thread which reminded me that I will see the Gang open for the Pixies at Keyspan park coming up OCT 1st. I nearly vowed not to see the pixies after jones beach this year but I'll give them another shot outside. But then again I think the only thing next to seeing them play a beantown date or a show at amherst was when I saw them last year at hammerstein @ midnight on the last tour date (or so they had us believe) - it did kick much a$$.
