That band, Death by Unga Bunga, probably took their name from
the Mummies. Who are an essential American garage rock band:
Another great band is Austrailia's
Radio Birdman, their discography was assembled by Sub Pop a few years ago and its pretty great:
Teengenerate and
Guitar Wolf are two classic Japanese garage bands, they are uber-loud and fuzzed out.
Bringing it back a little,
The Sonics are like the gold standard for 60's American garage rock.
Finally, there's
Billy Childish, who has been involved with around 20 different bands and projects and has probably released over a hundred albums (never mind singles). I'm just going list a bunch of his bands. If you see something by one of them, just pick it up. Chances are good you'll like it.
-The Pop Rivets
-The (sometimes Thee)Milkshakes
-Thee Mighty Caesars
-Thee Headcoats
-Thee Headcoat Sect (w/ The Downliners Sect, British 60's R&B band)
-The Musicians Of The British Empire
-The Buff Medways
-The Del Monas
I don't have Spotify, but you could probably find tracks from all of these albums either on hypem.com or youtube or something. Truth of the matter is that these are all classic albums and if you want to get into garage rock, everyone's going to at one point reccommend you check these out. There are a ton more, but this is a decent overview.
