The GAS is nerve-wracking.

So I'm sitting around waiting for time to pack up and go gig with nothing to do but surf this forum and youtube, and I'm tellin' ya... I want one of everything I've been looking at, and I have no expendable income.

I have heard tell of the Sansamp Para DI, and it looks like that just one more thing!! that will make everything I do wallow in awesomeness

Of course I know that's ridiculous because between all the knobs and sliders on my pedalboard, my Hartke 7000 amp and my Ibby with the 3-band EQ, I should pretty much get about any tone I want.

I need better ways to spend my time.

The trouble is Tech 21 makes nice stuff. What you are looking at is $200 not so much at the Gas Pump. Me, I went for the Tech21 PSA1.1 for over $600. I started with the basic Tech21 Sans in a metal box ( $150.00 ?) I can't remember. My problem is not selling any of my pedals, amps, cabs are no trouble getting rid of but good pedals I just keep.....The only advice I have is keep on gigging,at least you're doing that and then you'll be able to get what you need when the time is right. Best of luck ..........................

Can't help you. I just got a Sansamp RBI to put in front my QSC. Ooooh. Turned heads at my last show. I can now attest for Tech 21 stuff. Glad I'm gigging.

I cut back from a VT Bass I used for stoner doom to a compressor that seems to have opened the doors to even more outrageous playing. So uh, I have nothing relevant to add to this discussion!

However, I haven't got that much GAS beyond the "Oh! That'd be so cool to have!" these days.

I had it under control for about three years, and was smug about it. Doesn't last.
