I just received a "flight" version of that case with an ESP I got off of Ebay - FedEx bumped it around a bit and it arrived with the the aluminum valence on one end of the case all bent to hell so that it won't close and the bass had a nice chip in it. It obviously got dropped on that end, but I would have expected it to hold up a lot better. It probably would hold up find for everyday stuff, but if you have a really nice bass, I would recommend going with a plywood type like Fender uses. For maximum protection, I'm not a big fan of any of the plastic molded cases.

Hi there!
I own a very similar case (got it with my Lakland Skyline DJ4). I must say that I'm not very pleased with it's built quality since one of the "legs" fell off very soon and keeps falling off eventhough it was replaced. Also, one of the inner sides unglued and the strap that keeps the upper part from falling down when you open the case got torn. Aside from that, it works fine and has saved my bass a lot of times.

I have a Gator bass case (looks the same as the pic, except it has 4 latches instead of 3 in the picture) to keep my Spector Euro 5 in, and it seems a great case.
