There's a Guitar Center opening up a few miles away from me this Thursday!

My chances of purchasing anything, however, are quite minimal.

Oh well, i'll at least go try some things out.

Can somebody give me an idea of some the the things Guitar Center carries?

Lotsa stuff they got. If your gear leans toward the exotic, or near custom instument quality, you may be dissapointed.

If the accesories you need are pretty common, IE: factory production stuff, you'll probably be O.K.

Loud overhead music, and a dubiously knowledgeable staff are the ususal complaints. But I have no complaints about the GC near me.

Don't forget 7 kids practicing the latest "rock anthem" from the radio with the amp on 10. More annoying than the overhead music, in my opinion.

Only seven? Can I come to your store?

Unfortunately Arlington has a fairly large GC, and it is often filled with spastic chimpanzees wearing ballcaps backward and abusing Ibanezes or Warwicks.

The horror...the horror.
