GC "Trade and Save" Banner ad

I clicked on the GC banner ad to get the particulars on the trade-in promo.
Now, I'm not here to comment on trade-ins at GC, that topic has been done to DEATH.

What got me on this one is the list of companies who are excluded from the promotion "at their request"
For us bassists, you CANNOT use this trade-in deal toward:

Ampeg
SOME Epiphone & Gibson
Fender
Mesa
Peavey
Squier
SWR

No store honors that though. At least Ive never had a problem.

I don't normally defend GC, but they are contractually required to publish those exclusions; and if you call them or go into a store, as opposed to doing a web deal, they can usually do the deal.
