Gear decisions...

Well, there is this guy I know at school who is selling a pretty much mint condition Ibanez BTB405 for $350. I have my old peavey head that I'm keeping as a backup to my GK (which I probably will NEVER need) and I have my current 5er, the DeArmond Pilot Pro V.

Lately I've been thinking of possibly getting an Ibanez BTB406 or a GT7 this summer or something, but I wouldn't mind getting a better 5er for now since my band is doing detuned stuff and also the DeArmond isn't as great as the BTB IMO.

I know I've kinda answered my own question here but what do you all think...keep the DeArmond and the Peavey (as a backup just incase) or sell em both and get the BTB.

Thanks,
Tyler

Well, if you don't like 'em / don't use 'em, I say get rid of 'em.

IMO only you can decide that... but if you dont like your 5 string, then replace it.
