After scouring the forums in my boredom here at work, I came to find no GA bassist club.... now that just can't be...... so I think its time to get one of these hootinanies up and goin...

Good deal... I'm about 60 miles north of the Fl border in a town called Douglas... not Douglasville... but Coffee County... I thought this was gonna be a dead thread lol.... glad to see it has a life =D... And JPSbassist... you can be the first honorary member =D

I wake up every mornin and have them STATESBORO blues. Grow up here, bought my first bass here, a Peavey milestone II, left then came back. So count me in in the good ol GEORGIA boy bass club

I hear you. I've woken up in Statesboro many a time trying to remember how I got there. It usually had to do with some sweet GA Southern young thang and an overzealous keg party in some cotton field in the middle of nowhere.
And don't even get me started on Sylvania. Whoa. :-)

This reminds me of the two years I spent in Americus going to South GA Tech. Keg parties in the woods, cornfields, cotton fields and even old Indian burial grounds(supposedly).
