I am so in man. I am one of the chefs at the Savannah Westin by the way. so I am down for cooking up some nice stuff and jamming. I play guitar and drums as well so there is always something I can hop on and play. Keep us updated man, I drive all the time to Macon and ATL so its no biggie. consequently...I really need to head up to the Boro for some of your brunswick stew. I've been known to travel solely for food

Thumbs up

We have a great GTG every year in Warner Robins and we'll definitely have to get the word out to all of you next year. We typically have it in March.
And it always features some great BBQ and Brunswick stew from Georgia Bob's!

Looking forward to meeting some of you guys there at the next one!

Southgabass- I do apologize for not making it out last Friday. I have been so swamped with work and family obligations (just had a new baby boy two weeks ago). Oct 7th is going to be a very busy day/ Weekend at GSU. That weekend is Family Weekend, which will bring about 3000 extra people to the stadium and means I have to feed them all weekend. Luck me 8-(.

Any really good places you guys know to play (and here comes the list) with some contacts... our shows have slowed down... one club owner closed 2 of his places in Albany that we played.... and I love to play new places.... we haven't played somewhere that didn't enjoy us =D... figured I'd do a little research for our booker and give him the list.... hopefully somewhere that has a great crowd (attendance and participation) and benefits ($$ tab, somewhere to stay)... lets see what we can do here... my band does a mix of top 40 from the 70s to now... a lot of focus on 80s 90s and now =D

You'll know tomorrow night. Sorry--I'm not trolling, just hard to find words now & shouldn't rant lest I get banned etc.
Good luck with venue search.

I'm not from Georgia, but I've lived here more than half my life, so that's gotta count for something!
Currently in Avondale Estates, right next to Decatur.

For those who haven't heard or are confused, Troy Davis was found guilty of a 1989 murder of a Savannah Police officer and was executed last night in Butts County.

This is not the place to aruge about it or bash the great state of Gerogia. No Politics allowed.

@Chuck Norriss- I respect your POV but this is not the forum to dicuss or rant about the judical system of this great state and nation.
