Getting better at something is cool... Like when you practice your ass off... and then think of where you were before you started practicing. It is a good feeling. Right now I am thinking about how I couldn't walk through ANY jazz standards.... Now I can walk through Blue Monk and Freddie the Freeloader.
I KNOW I KNOW! You jazz vets are saying that's wicked easy.. Whatever!! I DON'T CARE!!! I am still happy.. Maybe one day I will be soloing over Giant Steps and can think back to when I was starting to learn standards.

I had recorded some sound clips a year ago and it's pretty funny to listen to them. No rythm at all, I love it!
