Hey I'm in the the process of recording an album and I wanted to know the easyest way to get my music online. Is there some sort of site like photo bucket where I can upload them to?

That depends on whether you want to distribute it for free or not. If you want to distribute your music for free, a torrent site such as The Pirate Bay is often a good start. If you want to charge a fee for your music, try CD Baby. You can sell both physical CDs and MP3 downloads on that site. Either way, I would either build a website or pay someone to build one for you, as you won't make many sales or downloads without a good online presence. Also, take advantages of sites such as Twitter and Facebook to connect with your fans and to promote your music.

Good luck!

Lol, I have no fans, I have no band. Pretty much I just write the songs and record the guitar and bass tracks with a drum machine. I was getting ready to take on the daunting task of trying to both record and play the drums for the album when I finaly got a drummer. I just wanna get it online so I can try and atract some other musicians to my cause.

So how do I get music onto myspace or pirate bay? Will they have to download the music or can they just listen to it like on youtube? Do I want it in MP3 format?

If you just want to upload music to share with anyone, upload it all through http://www.megaupload.com/.

Hope it helps

If you upload to The Pirate Bay, they will have to download it to listen to it.

Kind of like a myspace, but with widgets that you can place on all of your other social networking sites that allow you to update one thing (provided that one thing is on RN).
