GFS GFT-90 vs Korg Pitchblack Tuner Pedals

Sign in to disble this ad
I'm currently searching for a new tuner pedal. I believe I have narrowed it down between the GFS GFT-90 and the Korg Pitcblack.

I know they are both supposed to be +/-1 cent on accuracy but I was wondering which one tracked faster, had better battery life, etc.

Thank you very much for all of your help!

Bump?

Surely someone has tried both of these pedals?

I see that - the circle of lights takes a little getting used to, but it is ultra quick and as accurate as the others. I can play a riff and watch all the notes being displayed in front of me
Of the other two there's not much difference to me although I do like the GFS large display, and the fact its half the price of the Korg.

How can a tuner 'not strike you'$ The Sonic is massively more accurate than either you are considering, and tracks about as fast as anything I've ever experienced. The Sonic is BY FAR the best tuner on the market IMO and IME (based on quality of construction, tracking, and accuracy).

The fact that it's $50 more than the Korg and that it has a display that would take getting used to.

I'm not doubting it's a great tuner, it's just not what I'm looking for at the moment.

I know they are both supposed to have the same accuracy (The Korg and the GFS) so my main question is which one will track a note quicker?

IMO, a tuner is a tuner. Unless you are playing a 12 string, how long do you really need to tune?

Is the GFS true bypass or not?
