Interesting article.... BBC News - Are Gibson guitars killing the rainforest?
I work in the conservation field so this is especially germane.

| It's not really even about violation of import laws; it's about some government pencil-pusher's interpretation of a foreign law.
It's been discussed to death, but as far as I'm concerned, someone with some level of authority (that they probably don't deserve) has it out for Gibson. An armed raid over an incorrect tariff code that was off by one character, from an importer who supplies to ALL the guitar manufacturer's in the USA? Get real!
