Gig bag to fit Fender 4 + 1 headstock arrangement?

Sign in to disble this ad
The tuners are large clover leafs, so this is a big headstock. My Roadrunner and Levi bags are too tight, as are several other "no-name" bags I have. I just came back from GC empty-handed. I'm not looking for a fancy $100.00 bag; I'm just looking for a gig bag that I can stow in my closet and take out periodically.

Ideas?

Get a Fender gigbag. They are very reasonable. Check out Musician's Friend.

Thanks Dr. Cheese, I spent a few minutes having a look-see and your suggestion is good. Now I gotta find something else to buy to get free shipping.

I have a Fender P-5 and it fits int my G&L gig bag. It is a little tight but it fits and is what I use. This is a decent bag that I have had for 5 years. The back pack straps are very comfortable, it has a closet hanger hook and the pockets are pretty good size, but not big enough to fit a Genz Benz Shuttle 6.0. The fabric is very sturdy and stiff but it doesn't have much padding.....$63

I've owned a few of the Carvin bass bags. Easily fits my
Fender American Deluxe V J. Lots of storage and dense firm
foam. Good zippers.......AND CHEAP!
Go on the Carvin site and take a look.
