Gig Bag with Good Backpack Straps?

Sign in to disble this ad
I am looking for an Electric Bass gig bag with good quality backpack straps, i.e. well padded ones. Preferably with tension straps as well to distribute the weight. Somewhere between $90-$110.

Its for my little brother who rides his bike everywhere and is having a hard time with his current case. I know that companies like Mono make awesome bags of this kind but they are in the $200 range. For a 14 year old its a bit steep and a lot of responsibility.

Ive been doing a lot of market research and I am not having a lot of luck. Someone recommended Bass Talk as a way to get closer to finding the Gig Bag Im looking for. Something between the $50 bags you find at most guitar retailers and the high end like Mono would be ideal.

Thanks for your ideas,
Melissa

I like the Carvin Gig bags for a quality/inexpensive bag. I have the IGIG too but like the Carvin bags as well. I have a few. About $44.00 Hope this helps.

The Carvin bag is definitely a good value for the money.

Roadrunner makes some decent ones in the sub $100 range. Including one with a stiffening bit in it. Nice shoulder straps and plenty of room too, millions of pockets and such.
