Gig Bag Questions

Sign in to disble this ad
I've had my Fender Deluxe double gig bag for several years now and it has served me quite well. Usually I carry only one bass, and put either my Markbass LMII head and/or a music binder in the second compartment. Zippers are starting to get bad, though, so it's time for a new one.

I'm in the market for a single bass gig bag, with a front pocket large enough to accommodate my Markbass head. Many have mentioned the iGig bags; are there any other models that have large enough pockets to hold a micro amp? A depth of 3.5" would be the minimum. Any know if the newer Fender Deluxe bags have deeper pockets now? Do any of the Roadrunner models fit the bill? Not sure if I want to spend alot on an iGig if there's something else out there that works for less.

I haven't ruled out getting a new Fender Deluxe double bag, seems like a steal for only around $35!

Any online retailers? Really difficult to find some of these brands at the usual retailers such as MF, AMS, etc.

my wife got me my morridian from Rudy's in NYC via phone. Not a big fan of that place, but I've also seen them on other sites.

Sorry for the hijack, but I've been looking for a double gigbag. Can anyone recommend an awesomely padded double gigbag for two heavy basses?
