A Gig bag that will fit a MIA Jazz?

Sign in to disble this ad
I'm in need of a solid gig bag that will protect my oh so precious MIA 2008 Jazz from college life. Does anyone have a gig bag they would recommend? I hear the Lakland bags are nice, but I don't know if my Jazz will fit in it.

Thanks for your input!

I have a case, but it's a little bit of a hassle to lug it back and forth between Maryland and New Jersey.

Tons of nice bags out there. I have a reunion blues for 20 years. Still pretty much perfect.Very expensive bags though. That bag has been all over the world and if you average out how much use its gotten... it was cheap. I also have several Levys both leather and nylon. Very good bags. Many others to choose from.

I like the Mooradian bag because it weighs next to nothing,
but has lots of protective foam and great straps. It also has
tons of storage. They've been making very popular bags for
about 25 years. Very well thought out bags.

+1 on the Mooradian. I bought a double electric bag from Sadowsky in 2005. The bag is awesome. I also own one of their double bass bags and that thing has seen so many miles and it looks great still.

all the best.

The OEM Fender one that came "free" with my Highway 1 is okay. Good shoulder straps and heavy duty handles with excellent pocket space for straps, cords, and other stuff. However...I added a strap lock system and the tail-end pin has split the material - only 9 months old...
