Hey lowenders: I need a new gigbag for my bass. I use an SKB44RW travel case which requires a gigbag for the bass. You slide the gigbag into the case and lock it together. I had what I thought was a good bag; a Roadrunner. Well it is falling apart at the seams even with careful handling after less than one year. What are your opinions on a good quality gigbag that isn't too bulky so it will fit into this case. I would like to keep the cost at no more that $100. Thanks for your thoughts.
Ron DeLancey

Any standard gig bag will work.

But it is $110. IF you don't need pockets that much, the case itself is great hard/soft combination and very protective. It is also slim. I have photos at my work. PM me and I can email direct to you later. |

I also had a RoadRunner that fell apart after 2 months of light use.

Any of you guys selling yours?

Ice-man: yeah, i know its a shame realy, but i can guarantee you this, if anyone DID sell them in Europe, it would be just as expensive buying it from USA anyway... I think if my Corvette Rock bass sells fast im maby gonna get the Incase Slimbag, then i actually can aford it i think.. |

It has 2 pockets and they're both useless IMO. That Access Stage V bag is cool but way too many pockets for me. I also tried the straps and they're not that great either. For me, the bag is great 'cause I don't need the pockets or the straps. |

The remainder are on the backpack, which can be removed, leaving a streamline bag. There is a backpack system, but it stowes away and is totally unobstrusive.
