You know, mistakes you made, related to music, that reflecting upon, you really should have never done or tried.
My worst is around age 6. I had seen my father, a very handy DIY'er, repair all kinds of stuff, including wireing. He had an electric guitar, and I heard him several times make this guitar sound absolutely incredibly loud. He told me it was because it was an electric guitar.
So once, I took the guitar to the basement, and it made a very low sound. I played around with the knobs, but still not much sound. Then I remembered, it was an electric guitar. I looked in his workshop for a wire to make this electric guitar soud louder. I coulden't find one, so I made one.
Cut up 2 different wires, bared the ends of the wire, and connected all 4 wires together with electric tape. So I had my 1/4 inch to 120v cable ready. I plugged in, and it did make a loud sound, a light show, and even made a smoke show.
I can't remember if my dad was totally pissed, amused, or worried about me.
