Glowing Guitars

Sign in to disble this ad
I'm not sure if this is the right section for this...

But Fall Out Boy recently played a gig in Brisbane (I wasn't there) and the lights went out for one song and their guitars glowed... What i wanna know is how they did it? I thought that it could have been a see through coat on their guitars but the glowing was only in effect for one song...

Any ideas?

P.S. Mods, feel free to move this to another section if it isn't supposed to be here.

Maybe some black light and a special kind of paint on the guitars!

Fall Out Boys instruments glow with the aura of their overabundance of talent.

I believe it is just a bunch of fluorescent lights under the finish of the guitars that are controlled off-stage.

Didn't they do that at one of the awards shows or in one of their music videos? I remember seeing them on TV with their guitars flashing patterns and such.

I think they do that at every one of their shows.

I suppose distracting the crowd with lights is cheaper than hiring the soundman that makes them sound manageable.

It was either on the last TRL or the Jimmy Kimmel show they had led's in their guitars and Pete Wentz's bass.
