Go SEE the dead weather - if you can

Jack White is the new genius. I just saw The Dead Weather last night in San Diego and couldn't have been more excited. Talking about a sub-super band (depending on who you talk to) they played lights out and Alison is an incredible vocalist and performer. I've seen Chickenfoot and The Crooked Vultures - both deemed to be "super bands" and neither had the energy, raw power and pervasiveness that The Dead Weather displayed last night! Jack White is a genius, Dean and Jack are in their prime and Alison, well Alison, will put you into a trance and make you wish you were single again.

Best Show of 2010 (so far) with U2, Muse, ACL and Deftones to go.

Completely agree. Allison just ***** the stage and is the hottest rock and roll chick around. They put on an amazing show.

I saw them at Bonnaroo, right up front in the pit. That's what I think seeing Zeppelin back in the 70s would have been like, they've got the same groove and power. Jack Lawrence's bass tone is really powerful and has some funk to it.
Did Jack White get on the guitar at all? The audience went nuts when he pulled it out for a few songs, I've never seen anyone solo like that on stage.

All I can say is incredible. What a tight band. Jack Lawrence can rip on that hollow body and Alison is pure sex! WOW. It was well worth the 100 to get in. Yep, Jack White played guitar on three songs and during one of the songs he manipulated Dean's pedal board while Dean was soloing. I think I'm in love with Alison!
