I've caught them live 6 times now (good going for a 20year old in Ireland, tours never come here!). It never gets old or boring. Make a point of seeing them.

I saw for the first time last year and they blew me away. I hope they go on another tour soon.

I've seen them probably 20 or more times since 1984, and it's ALWAYS awesome!!! They NEVER disappoint!

Go see them... go see them OFTEN!

Cheers!

I've never been more than a very casual fan - I saw them on the Powerslave tour. I was extremely impressed!!!!!! I was not expecting them to be as good as they were. I don't think they do the giant props / huge areanas like that any more, do they?

Funny enough, the tour they just did in 2008 sported almost the whole Powerslave stage set! I saw it twice last year, and they were even BETTER than they were in 1984! Just AMAZING!!!

Cheers!

Saw them last year on the "Somewhere Back In Time" tour. Awesome show, and they are back next March. Supposedly, they return with full bells and whistles (bigger stage, bigger Eddie...), but I don't like crowds and I can die a happy man after seeing them live. I'm going to save my money and energy for MOTÖRHEAD next April!

maiden is an awesome show. first time i saw them they were touring for killers, opening for priest (Screaming for vengeance). even with paul di'anno they were still monstrous.

had 3rd row for powerslave at the omni in atlanta in '85. magnificient. one of the best shows i've ever been to.

haven't seen them live since 7th son (saw every tour from killers to 7th son). really miss seeing them, but i doubt they'll ever make it down here in the southeast u.s. again.

I've been to every Maiden show I could get to since 8th grade. I'll usually see them on a few nights if I can afford it. Even if its the same set, it never gets old, but their last tour was a tad disheartening musically, but still an awesome show.

That's the first time I saw them, too! 7/24/81, Palladium in NYC, 8th row. One week to the day after I saw Van Halen in the Garden for my 16th birthday, where Great White got booed off the stage.

I've seen them on that tour, Piece of Mind, Somewhere in Time, Fear of the Dark, and this past one, where I took my 12-year-old to see his first show. Good times!

Saw them back in '83 on the "Piece Of Mind" tour with Saxon and Fastway opening at the Long Beach Arena.
