| Got a couple pics that I'll post in a bit, but man... Doors at 8, show at 9:30? What the crap? We went down the street for some food and came back and caught the opening band. A band called Dirtfoot and they weren't really my thing so we hung out for 3 or 4 songs & left again for a while. Got back around 10:45 and the place was freaking packed. If it wasn't sold out it was damn close. Gotta say, there are still some super hot women at Reverend shows. Man... Eye candy galore. They played from 11-1:45 & rocked the freaking house. It was pretty much awesome & they said this is their sort of 25th year anniversary tour so the first half of the show was 2 or 3 songs from their first 4 albums, 4 from their new album, and then they played probably 10 more of their "hits" and threw in Folsom Prison and an Elvis song. The guitar player from Cracker got up and played 3 songs with them... Two on gutiar and one on harmonica & I was pretty surprised he was hanging w/ The Rev on the back & forth solos playing off of each other. Never knew that dude could play like that. The only sort of "hit" they didn't play was Bails of Cocaine. Otherwise, they covered pretty much everything. Still got it & Jimbo is awesome at slap bass. Makes me want to try my hand a bit. |
