Going Wireless - Got a great deal

Well, after lots of thought - and prodding from my band mates - I've decided to go wireless. I have a hard time standing in one place all night at a gig, so I tend to wander aroung the stage and into the audience. Too many times I've run into trouble with that damned cord trailing behind me. I went with the Line6 G30 - and scored a great deal at Amazon. If you enter the code at the opening screen it will take off an additional 15%. This resulted in a price reduction of $44.00! Lowest price I've ever seen for this unit.

Congrats on the deal. I had a band where the guitarist went wireless and I got bummed that I couldn't move around as much. After I got myself a wireless it was like a whole new world of freedom. I like moving around and joining the crowd durring a gig as well and I love the fact that I no longer have to worry about the cord getting cought or wraped around something. Plus I don't have to worry about tripping or having the cord accidentaly yanked out of the bass.

Great price. Do you notice a difference in your sound? I'm guessing not a huge difference in a live mix, but just checking.

I moved it to Miscellaneous...I could've put it in Live Sound, but since this thread is more about the deal than it's use, let's try Misc.

The Line 6 G series wireless units seem to be a great deal for the money. I've heard many great things about them from bass players especially. They have an adjustment built in, at least the G50 does, that is like the Radial Tonebone Dragster. It helps get back some of the low end lost by many wireless units. I think that is why bass players really like them. when I can afford one, that is want I will be getting!
