I would like to get rid of my instrument cable.
I am thinking about going wireless. What are you folks using? pros and cons?
I am totally out of my league here.

I am looking to buy used gear. So the more I know, the better.
How is Shure, Nady, AKG, Samson, Sennheiser ?
Are there any designed for the bass guitar?

Are there any units that aren't recommended?
I am leaning to the X2 or Samson if I can find a good deal used.

I am totally out of my league here. | I've been VERY pleased sending the signal from both an active 5-string and a passive Pbass through my "stompbox" X-2.
What's your budget? I've been thinking about upgrading to the rack-mount version. |

My X-2 is the entry-level unit, and it provides extraordinary fidelity with 5-string, despite the fact that I'm using a TS cable - a TRS cable is alleged to provide an even better "Hi-fi" signal. |
