Golf Balls vs. Bass Strings

Sign in to disble this ad
Has anyone noticed the striking similarities between golf ball packaging/advertisement and string packaging/advertisement?

I just opened a set of D'Addr's chrome flat wounds and was confronted with holographic paint, really sexy language that made me feel like I just bought sex in a wrapper and strings that have freaking serial #'s written on each one so that, "You know they are authentic."

For serious, golf ball companies and string companies are in cahoots.

I cant say as I've even ever seen a golf ball in any kind of packaging. I kinda pictured a clear plastic tube, like a mini Pringles can...as a kid I was always mystified by Pringles being in tennis ball cans though.

Awesome observation. I love it. Of course, for some reason, the pic of the DR extras on the link looks like a condom package to me.
