Good ATA flight case for bass and for racks?

Sign in to disble this ad
Can anyone recomend some companies that made good ATA basses cases and rack cases for a decent price? My hardshell case is slowly falling apart, and I want to invest my money in something that will withstand travelling.

Thanks, Justin.

It would help if we knew where you are located. If you're in the Bay Area, Cal Cases (a division of Sound on Stage) makes great cases to spec. They are in Hayward. Otherwise check your local area.

I have a Conklin GT-7 in a Kaces III gig bag, in an SKB SKB-44RW ATA Electric Bass Roller Case, $99.99.
I wrap the headstock in a sweater to pad it a bit more, and it works fine.
SKB seems to have good quality stuff for a good price, but...caveat emptor, ey?
