Anyway...
Most "tough-guy" hardcore bands have hilariously bad names.
As do most "tight-pants" emo bands. |

Other names I think are cool, but that the guy who started this thread might not think are cool:
Throbbing Gristle
Dayglow Abortions
Southern Culture on the Skids
The Stooges
Violent Femmes
Minor Threat
Brian Jonestown Massacre
The Mothers of Invention
Peter and the Test Tube Babies
The Dictators
Dead Kennedys
The Stranglers
The Cramps
Rudimentary Peni
.......hell, I could go on with this for a week
Yes, your bands name does suck. All of thoes bands are obscure older bands... mostly punk. Punk bands have super crappy names. Let's talk about good band names.
The Mothers of Invention---an obscure older band? Where you been living? Reseda?

-Spring Heeled Jack:3 word/syllable band names generally get more points for coolness just because they have a nice cadence. Other examples include Less Than Jake, Monsta Island Czars and Stiff Little Fingers
-Lifter Puller: Don't know why, it just is...
-Tiny Hawks:Tough but sweet
-This Bike is a Pipebomb: Kind of funny, silly, but snarky at the same time.
-Mclusky:Maybe it's just for this band, but damn it was a good choice! It wreaks of cheap booze and bad attitude.

Anyway, what do you folks think of Multiple Bulbs as a band name? |

The best ultrasupermetalupyerass band name ever is "Pink Unicorn Horsey."

Faith No More. Fit that band perfectly.
Dillinger Escape Plan has a nice ring to it.
Mastodon is an excellent name in my opinion. |

Social Distortion
Gaye Bykers On Acid
The Circle Jerks
I could go on for quite awhile with names of bands that I think "got it right" when they came up with a name.

| Coincedentally, it's vice versa for me, whenever I watch the Godfather pt. 1 I think of the band when he comes on.
