Not necessarily love-dovey crap, just good, melodic, slow songs thats I can play on bass and sing to. For example, Tommy the Cat would not be a good suggestion.
Last night I learned "Dont Forget Me" (RHCP). Simple bass (4 double stops in succession) and the singing melody is in harmony with the bassline. Any more ideas? |

last week at the church band rehearsal, i was noodling around a bit (they talk so much) and all the singers froze when they heard it (they're classically trained).
