I want to see if I can "sell" my musical ideas I have little use for myself now. Not sure if it's a good idea though.
I have no formal
music training/education, but I've written songs that I don't intend ever recording the original lyrics that I wrote for them. The music is OK so I've re-written lyrics to suit my tastes today.
But I've got the old lyrics too plus reference material I came up with etc. basically, a lot of redundant ideas, for me.
I've also drafted up songs or parts of songs in GuitarPro, usually by writing up the bass, drum and guitar parts myself with a view to recording them "one day"...
Problem is, I don't have the opportunity to form an original act and even if I did at 34 kids house etc I'm not taking over the world with my ideas, so I see them as very sellable
So, answer my poll! And then direct me to some general information on how they are sold, and protected pre-sale please!! I can't get successful searches via the web, as I'm not using the right string queries with my limited vocabulary and lack of knowing the subject well
