Hello,

I am in Clockwork War, http://www.rhworld.co.uk/cw.

Due to the fact we havent found a guitarist yet i am wondering if there is any good rock drum and bass songs out there, or bass dominent songs that mean you can drop the guitar. Could someone help? So far i have Blood Brothers - Iron Maiden but thats not really appropraite!

There is a local band in South Africa who are a 3 piece:

Lead Singer/Bassist
Drummer
Keyboard/Brass

They are considered Monkey Punk but there is no real exacting description of their music. In terms of finding tabs, can't help you there.

Otherwsie, their name is: Boo!

Might be worth a look

I could rattle off the names of bands that have no guitar but really you can take any guitar-oriented song where the bass just doubles the guitar and play it on bass. Just use a good distorted tone. Or you can play the heads from jazz standards, drinking songs, opera arias... really, try the "Habanera" aria from Carmen.
