Good tone in Logic Pro 9?

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey guys, I'm new to the forum and this is my first post.

I've recently started recording some bass covers for fun and putting them up on youtube. It keeps me motivated and is helping me improve.

I use an Mbox 2 (DI) and Logic Pro 9 to record the audio.
I was wondering if anyone knows how to get a good bass tone out of the built in settings/plugins in logic (no extra plugins).

I can't really find a tone that sounds good and is able to be heard unless you have good speakers/headphones.

You can see one of my covers here...

Any tips/advice would greatly be appreciated.

Thanks!!
