Good wireless unit.

I am not sure if this is the proper forum, but it is kind of amp related also.

I just recieved my new Dr. Bass BL 2x10 and it is awsome with my GK 1001RBII. The only problem I have is when I use my Samson Airline 77 (guitar bug) and I get a lot of hiss comming from the horn and speakers. I had a SWR WM 4x10 and there was some hiss, but I think the more sensitive (and way better) speakers pick up the hiss more. I tried my bass plugged directly to the amp and very little hiss, but when my wireless unit is hooked up a very noticable amount of hiss comes out, even when the transmitter is off. I have not played it in a band situation yet, so I am wondering if it may not be noticable with the rest of the band.

Is this a typical problem with wireless untis, or should I try another unit out, or ignor it because I may not notice it when playing in the band?
Thanks, Earl.

I use a Shure ULXS unit. It sounds incredible and has been very reliable. They're on Ebay used most of the time and are about $450-500 new. I feel they're worth every penny. They also have cheaper units, so check out the one in your price range and Shure s a very good and reputable company.
