Not sure how many of you use a pick, I do not when it comes to the bass, but I do for the guitar.

Anyone ever have trouble holding onto your pick during a gig? Here's the perfect solution:

I've used Dunlop Tortex pics for years. They've served my sweaty hands well.

Dunlop Nylons here

No problems.. though it does look quite interesting. I might buy some just to see how it works

Don't play with a pick but, for some strange reason, I have a Herco Medium thumbpick with a loop which may serve your purpose.

I used to when I first started playing, but I guess my grip just got better over time. I don't use any special grip type picks, just Dunlop tortex picks

Tortex does help with grip, IMO. The powdery coating and rubbery texture always gripped my fingers as I started to sweat.

When I use a pick, I use those medium Fender cellulose ones, this might be useful.

Lol, Gorilla Snot is the name of a shooter up here that has the consistency of snot and tastes vaguely like bananas. I have no idea what's in it, so don't ask.

Question

Funny, when I was living in Costa Rica they had a popular hair gel called Gorilla Snot. I wonder if it's the same stuff being marketed differently...

I use the Dunlop Gator grip, doesnt move at all...

I would think that this snot is bad if you keep going from pick to finger style and back, its going to ruin your strings!

How do they get the snot out of the gorilla's nose? Do they pick it?

Actually they do. It's a pretty well paid position. Several around the countries go into the zoos and pick the gorillas' noses for the company.
