| Got back with my old band, how refreshing

Well after two or three years apart. The planets have aligned and everyone is back in town for the summer. After a year in a money driven cover band and then sometime off its good to get back to playing music I enjoy and writing original bass lines for original songs. I'm just after spending the last couple of hours working on some bass lines for some of the new songs. Its great to get those creative muscles going again. I remember whilst in the cover band I listened to an old bad recording made of our reformed band playing and being impressed with my own playing and thinking "man I would never come up with a line like that now". The cover band did kill a little bit of my mojo I think. Anyway its good to be amongst friends playing music I like again.
....this was a bit of a random post. I guess I just needed to vent, or whatever the positive version of venting is called
