Got my iPod Classic 16G yesterday

OH! It's 160G, not 16G

And dumped all mp3s from my PC.

17,258 songs so far...

Only 7.9G left.

Listening Genius mix in car is FUN!

And when you connect your iPod to your car's aux in socket, it is wise to use line out connector (such as http://cdchangeremulator.com/accesso...l?review=write).

Better music quality from line out of iPod.

Hehe Jordan I've got somewhere around 3500, but I've got a year on you. So it's understandable.
Anyway, if I could afford it, I would have a lot more. Pirating ain't for me.

A little slow, but manageable.

My only grief so far is absence of crossfade function.

And, I've collected and ripped mp3s from Napster days.

Yeah.

Genius mix is not so genius

It becomes somewhat repetitive after some listening.

Anyway, no one is perfect.

40K? Damn. And I thought my 17,682 was something to brag about! I might have you on time though. Can you match 8 weeks, 1 day, 10 hours, 59 minutes, 38 seconds? How about 107.79 gigs?

Sorry if this derails...

my library stats - music only:

1743 artist (not counting compilation - only artists)
41,642 songs
121 days 18 hours 39 minutes 59 hours
282.05 gigs

that's 121 days - 17 weeks.

[/derail]

For the record, probably 50% of my music is a combination of underground electronica, indie, and avant-garde noise/drone/ambience.
