Graduate programs in Canada?

Sign in to disble this ad
Hello
Right now I am in an undergraduate program in the east coast, I am looking for graduate programs in Canada that are recommendable for bass (electric and upright) performance. I know mcgill has a great music program but I wanted to know see what other people have to say.

Judging by your profile (genres) you seem to be a jazz guy. I would consider Humber to be in the top 3 in Canada if not the best for jazz performance in Canada.

If the OP is a jazz guy, he'd do well to go to Humber. Study with Mike Downes, who literally wrote the book on bass lines. Don Thompson is there too.

Humber doesn't seem to have a graduate (masters or above) program for music. I was looking for something that i could take up after getting my BM here in Boston.
