I'm thinking about getting a fretless graphite neck/fingerboard for my fretless jazz. Or another possibility is a wood neck with ebony fingerboard. Either works for me. The thing is, I don't know of any companies that make necks with a jazz neck profile. I've tried Warmoth and Zon, neither of which I like. Any ideas for a jazz profile with ebony or graphite fingerboard?
I checked out status and moses, and their necks say the shape is oval. Which isn't quite what I'm looking for, it's got to be something much closer to a jazz.
Check out Modulus. They have the VJ which is supposed to be a Jazz styled bass. I believe you can by necks from them.
