Graphite Picks.

I'm looking to get pick some up for that phil lesh and mike gordon kind of thing, but I'm having some trouble finding some not on ebay. I don't have an ebay account and I really don't feel like setting one up again for a few picks. So if anyone knows any stores that stocks them that would be great. Or if someone wants to give me some sort of alternative I'm totally up for it. I'm not a big pick player as of right now, but I'm trying to get better at it. I've never actually used a graphite pick, so, like I said, feel free to suggest away on anything else.

thanks,
jus

Big City String carries the Adamas Graphite picks. I have no idea if that's what Lesh and Gordon use. I tried 'em and didn't care for the tone.

Some stores carry Pickboy picks, and they make some in what probably qualifies as graphite. I sometimes use a Pickboy Edge 1.14mm that's made of "carbon/nylon", another variant says "hi modulus carbon fiber", and another says "hi graphite".

Thanks man, I just ordered a bunch of different picks from big city strings and hopefully I'll find one that I like. If not it's not too big of a deal because they are so cheap compared to any other bass upgrade sort of thing.

I looked it up and one site says Gordon uses the Adamas. I don't really care, but I've just always been curious to play one.
