I've recently found my nearly unbearable GAS squelched.
First off, I got into another incredible gigging band with what I believe to be some of the top talent in Albuquerque. These guys have floated around the top of the scene here for years, in various bands. I don't have time to dream of this bass or that while I'm trying to keep up with them - and the gear I have is about as good as it gets, anyway (Epifani, Bergantino, Turner, G&L, Fender, Regenerate, etc).
Secondly, I've been informed that my company is closing it's doors in a few months and I will be without a job. Two things come out of that: 1), we've got a ton of work to complete before that happens, and 2), looking for a job is a very time-consuming task.
Life is good, though. Nothing to worry about, and it's nice to be GAS-free for a while!
EDIT: It just hit me that I haven't had time for TB, and that my GAS pains tend to track my TB time. So the
real GAS killer isn't lots of gigs and losing your job; it's getting away from TB!
