no poll on this one...who is the greatest band of all time....period
and by that, of course, i mean rock band...obviously with jazz, bluegrass, flamenco etc, we get far afield...so this will just be limited to rock...
i'm going to give you the answer, although i welcome all thoughts...even those who disagree with me
my choice, well, the Beatles....never be another like 'em
honorable mention...King Crimson, the Who, Deep Purple (tie for second)
any thoughts?

You don't know what is going to be created in fifty years, let alone tomorrow. Or right now, in some basement in Iowa, Ireland, South Africa, whatever. A more accurate statement might be the best thus far but, again, this is just, like, your opinion, man. There's really no point to this but to stroke our egos for liking similar musics which are really just drops in the bucket of an enormous, ever changing landscape of sounds and aesthetics. |

When it does, I'll give it the compulsory +1. |

Deep Purple are #1.
18 studio albums
34+ live albums
27 compilation albums.
and the best Hard Rock you will hear in your life.
