Green tortoise shell scratch plate...

Sign in to disble this ad
I'm guessing as pick guards aren't actually made out of tortoise shell it shouldn't be impossible to find...yet i can only find them in standard ol' red. I like the effect, i just want green...a deep green

Anybody seen them?

I've never seen green tortoise shell, but I have seen red:

Maybe a green pearl would be a good compromise:

I like red but i've totally got my heart set on the green...i had a bit of an epiphany so to speak lol Can't be doing with the pearl though, thats way to garish, kinda like one of Elvis' suits

I just know if you can buy fluffy scratch plates these days surely a tortoise shell effect in a different colour cant be that outrageous!

Anywho, thanks for the reply, and if you do ever see one - find this thread eh! cheers

I guess you could get a red PG, scan it onto your pc, photoshop it green and have it printed onto a pickguard or something.

So its not really "tortoise shell", its just a graphic.

I know i'm probably flogging a dead horse now...but this is what i mean:

It's not tortoise shell, but at the same time not as loud as the lime green pearl generally around...so yeah this is just a last call for help finding it
