Does anyone know if The Groove Shoppe (NY) is still around? Did they go out of business?

I think they went out of business, but I also heard that they stopped selling basses by other manufactures in order to pursue they're own product line produced by David Segal of New York Bass Works.

One of my all-time favorite basses visually.

Not sure of the model, but it's a groove shop

I have a friend who placed an order for a bass through Groove Shoppe. He has placed his downpayment 2 years ago, but have not received the bass yet.

Does anyone know how the owner of Groove Shoppe can be contacted?
