Groups / Clubs?!

I probably sound like every other newbie here but I'd really like to know whats up with these groups I see in everyones name and how to find some that apply to me!

Well, it works like this: say, for example, you're a bassist in a praise band, then you'd join the Praise and Worship Bassist group over at the Bassist subsection of the Forum. Or if you played a Sadowsky or an Sx bass then you'd join those groups. Simple as that. Just look around and see what applies to you, then post to those groups and applyto join.
