Stingray + Ampeg = GROWLLLLL

in essence, growl is the holy grail of tone and there are a million ways of getting there.
don't forget the strings you are using, i'm convinced that 50% of your tone comes from them. |

That is growl in my opinion. Plus I love the ending of the video.
For me it's high mids and that "hitting the rails" sound. Whether you get it from a GK, Ampeg, a Jazz bass or whatever else, it sounds good.
