Guaranteed dance floor fillers?

What works for your covers band?
Here in Aus:
Any ACDC
Jessie's Girl
Place Your Hands
Satisfaction
I Saw Her Standing There
Eagle Rock
Ballroom Blitz
Am I Ever Gonna See Your Face Again
Blister On The Sun
Run To Paradise
Treat Her Right
Mustang Sally
Better

A lot of these are Aussie hits! May not work in other countries

Here's a few that we've had recent success with...

Where The Streets Have No Name - U2
Fire - Jimi Hendrix
Bad Case Of Lovin' You - Robert Palmer version
Someone To Love - Blues Brothers

Sorry we do Robert Palmer's Bad Case too-cue stampede to the floor!
Another thing we need to do is stop the singer's chat between songs, it just gives people time to wander off the dance floor.

Old School funk from the 1970s, and/or disco hits from the 70s or 80s seems to be the hot button for getting crowds around here up & on their feet:

"Brick House"
"Play That Funky Music"
"Fire"
"Thank You (Fallentinme Be Mice Elf)"
"Give Up The Funk (Tear The Roof Off The Sucker)"
"It's Raining Men"
"Boogie-Oogie-Oogie"
"Grease"
"Lady Marmalade"

Brick House, definitely. Pretty much any Funk.

At our gig this past Sat night we played White Room. I was surprised that it PACKED
the dance floor.

YMCA and Play That Funky Music. They are largely why I quit that cover band.
