ok, so i know everyone's got a few, what bands do you listen to when you think no one's listening? and explain why if you care to

I'll be honest. as much as i really dont care for the whole emo/scene kids and that whole scene in general i will find myself listening to the likes of Fall Out Boy and Paramore...

i'm listening to some old limp bizkit stuff i had and i've gotta say, i wouldnt say i like the band anymore, but i do enjoy listening to the music...i just wouldnt admit that in public

We're covering a Beyonce tune: "...to the left...to the left". That's all I know. We trash it up.

We're also doin' a Kelly Clarkson tune: Since You've been Gone. Our singer does a good job with it. We thrash it a bit. Not a bad tune, but not one I'd give any additional time to.

i guess thats more what i meant to say, its not that i would be embarrassed to tell someone i listen to "_____" but since most people wouldnt like it i would hold off on playing it around them

I like the way the overdubs are done in it, and it has some kind of groove to it. Not a patch on what it's based on though. So much more could of been done with the song as well.

but seriously....

Edit: just for the record it's only this song.

Wimps, all

Never be ashamed of what you like, no matter what. As a confirmed Crimhead, I also like:

ABBA
Britney Spears (good songs and arrangements - my last band almost worked up "Hit Me, Baby One More Time")
Justin Timberlake
Winger

Good songs are good songs, no matter who's doing them.

I hated 80s synth rock, and prog rock in general, but I still pull out my Saga's Greatest hits tape. Yes tape, it *was* the 80s.

Here is an example:

Back in the day--some of my friends never understood why I liked listening to SADE.

They just didn't understand groove....

They were all about OZZIE and EDDIE

Anything by Kool Keith (aka: Dr Octagon, Dr Dooom, etc). I'm not really ashamed of it though....I'll occasionally play it for friends. Hilarious stuff.
