Sign in to disble this ad
Guitar center is advertising an in-store special on gear normally priced up to $100 for $29.

Does anyone know what is included in the sale?

I saw a stack of the orange tags/paper on a counter last night, it seems like they were just about to stick them on to things... But don't get your hopes up.

At the one in Clackamas last night, they already had stickers and stuff set out for the most part. Didn't see anything that struck me as being something I had to have. Maybe if they had a hardcase for my Geddy, I'd go for it.

If they have any decent tuner pedals included, I'll be on that like a hobo on a ham sandwich. When is the sale?

La Mesa Ca had some cheap electric guitars - no interest to me, though!

What?!?! No cheap basses!?!?!

I don't live very far from that particular GC; maybe I will pay it a visit over this weekend and see if I don't buy a cheap guitar instead.

Probably stuff that ought to be priced at $10.

Cool

Guitar Center sale was even hokier than last time. They even had a Fender bass gig bag listed under the sale at $29...it's always $29! Even online right now as we speak...and the sale doesn't apply online and with free shipping, don't waste your time or gas.

The list the manager gave me had less than 15 items, and most of it was stuff that was obviosuly overstocked like crappy drum heads and stacks of cheap 10 W mini practice amps. Even the strings listed for sale were normally in the $20-$30 range anyway. No real deals here guys, sorry.

The mixers and preamps and stuff were Behringer or lower quality. And I am STILL trying to figure out what item was normally priced at $100 that is now $29. Doesn't jive.

I never heard the $100 item thing.

I got a BBE Free Fuzz for 29.99. It came with a battery and an adapter. I am pleased.

Well that's not bad and I saw a few guys getting those. But the sale int he store and on the frontpage of their website clearly says items priced at blah blah up to $100 are $29. Nothing there was worth $100 and on sale. Nothing.

What do you think of that free fuzz? I got one too, and I'm undecided about it. I can only seem to dial it in on my passive Jazz.
